On Sunday, the Pelly Twins made their real world debut with a new music series at Great Scott. Drawing inspiration from the blog that follows Liz and Jenn's city-straddling musical adventures, the series seeks to feature the best emerging and underground bands from their respective habitats of Brooklyn and Boston. The night kicked off with Birthdays—filling in for No Way Jose. Power trio Widowspeak pleased the crowed by closing with Chris Issak’s Wicked Game. Total Slacker delivered an energized set with tons of acrobatics from front man Tucker Rountree. The night wrapped up nicely with a cozy set by Quilt. January 25, 2011
