Chrome stools literally on their last legs line the counter, oilcloth covers the tables and yellowed photos of famous customers plaster the walls - while the impassive hash-slingers and crammed-in regulars radiate local color. Speaking of hash, Charlie's turkey-based version is a staple, though the fluffy omelettes and even fluffier pancakes are as trusty as the turkey clubs, tuna melts and chili dogs.
