From: São Paulo, Brazil

Lives in: Allston

Her inspirations: Art Deco design, techno music, modern architecture, sacred geometry

Favorite stores: “Most of my standout garments are vintage. I shop primarily at thrift stores around Boston and on Etsy. I regularly hit up Rescue and Second Time Around to find unique pieces that excite me. In the spring and summer I vend and buy at the SoWa Market. It's my favorite shopping destination in Boston by far.”

Her favorite accessories: “A large obsidian pyramid pendant that my boyfriend gifted me, and my custom-made 'Volvox' lucite cuff. I pile on crazy accessories to make otherwise basic outfits pop.”

Favorite designers: Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen.

“To be honest I don't spend a lot of time following fashion designers, but in general I enjoy flamboyant, experimental clothes. Right now I am focused on collecting pieces with intense geometric patterning or mystical, galactic, space-inspired themes and textures.”

How she describes Boston style: “Among people who care, there is definitely a strong vintage vibe. The nice thing about Boston is that personal style usually reflects personality pretty authentically, unlike in New York where fashion victims run amok in whatever is being hailed as the 'trend item of the week.’ Eccentric dressers definitely have more room to breathe here.”

How her style has evolved through the years: “When I was in high school my style was straight up cyber-futuristic. I had half of my head shaved, wore six-inch platform boots every day and every garment I had was black, silver or asymmetrical in some way. This is still a big influence on how I dress today but I express it in a much more relaxed, refined way.”
